Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a successful and well-established company based in the north of Leicester. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated administrator to handle the processing of incoming enquiries into a very busy sales team inbox. Recording and identifying the requirements before distributing out to the correct individuals. To provide support to the wider commercial team to ensure deadlines are met. Team work is essential for this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Logging receipt of new orders and enquiries before distributing for correct action
  • Work in accordance with documented departmental procedures
  • Ensure orders are placed within deadlines and chase any that may be at risk
  • Liaise with team members and customers to ensure efficient handling of enquiries
  • Maintenance of electronic filing systems
  • Coordinating feedback to the Commercial Manager
  • Monitoring of reoccurring issues and areas for improvement
  • Collating and presenting KPI data to management

Skills and experience required:

  • Competent in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and highly organised
  • Strong time management, planning skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently with data, maintaining attention to detail
  • Work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Able to plan and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
  • Team player
  • Must have a full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle and be able to reliably commute


  • Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm (30 mins lunch)
  • Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm (30 mins lunch)

Salary and benefits:

  • £16,000
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension after 6 month probationary period
