Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancing Executive to join an expanding team based in Leicester.

To succeed in this exciting opportunity, you will have at least 4 years proven experience in a Conveyancing role and be educated to at least CILEX level 3. You will provide expert legal support and advice to clients in conveyancing matters and take instructions from clients, progressing all cases successfully through to completion.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Meeting and interviewing clients to establish the firm's suitability to provide the necessary advice and services, based on specialism and negotiating costs
  • Taking clients full instructions and advising on law and process
  • Drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client's specific needs
  • Negotiating with clients and other professionals outside of the organisation
  • Supervising the implementation of agreements
  • Corresponding with client s and opposing solicitors
  • Attending further client meetings where necessary to progress with client cases and finalise documentation
  • Checking of all documentation prior to signing and implementing
  • Time recording and billing clients
  • Carrying out risk assessments on all files and notifying compliance of any risks to the firm
  • Attending regular client networking and establishing new client relationships
  • Management of key clients
  • Meeting all KPI's in terms of financial targets, compliance and marketing

Skills and experience required:

  • 4 years PQE in a conveyancing role
  • Educated to at least CILEX level 3, Licensed Conveyancer or completed LPC
  • Confidence and ability to take responsibility for client files
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Numeracy and IT skills
  • Strong ability to plan work and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks effectively and promptly
  • Potential to lead and delegate responsibility
  • A professional approach to work, integrity and a respect for confidentiality

Salary and benefits:
