Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEO Executive to join our client, a well-established and award winning creative agency. Due to company growth, our client is looking to recruit a knowledgeable SEO Executive that can lead the optimisation and promotion of online content across a range of client websites to achieve maximum impact.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage content on different CMS systems for internal and client websites
  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits for clients
  • Conduct on-site and off-site SEO competitor analysis
  • Write proposals and SEO strategies for current and prospective clients
  • Assist and execute on-site and off-site SEO strategies (including link building), from research and creation of content to execution, for a range of clients and internal sites, across a host of different industries
  • Creating and managing landing pages, articles and profile pages to meet the demands of weekly, monthly and seasonal digital marketing campaigns
  • Conduct outreach campaigns to gain backlinks to client and internal websites, liaising with Digital PR team
  • Managing, testing and optimising outreach campaigns to determine which campaigns perform best on a long-term basis
  • Audit and manage backlink profiles
  • Supporting the SEO team with regular competitor analysis, keyword research and identifying issues/opportunities to improve website performance
  • Responsible for editing and proofing SEO content across a wide range of genres
  • Run a/b tests on landing pages or projects to increase conversion rates on the site
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure quality of content for sites is optimal and SEO friendly
  • Prepare data and various regular reports for management

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven SEO track record
  • Analytical approach with both a forensic and strategic mind-set
  • Sound understanding of CMS systems including WordPress, Magento and Drupal
  • Broader marketing experience is desirable
  • Up to date understanding of Google and Bing guidelines
  • Good understanding of major social channels
  • Ability to write engaging and well written copy
