Job Description
We are currently supporting the recruitment of a Trainee Digital Studio Developer for a dynamic and forward-thinking marketing services provider. Our client is a market leader within the UK and is looking for forward thinking individuals who like to be part of a successful team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Interpret requirement brief from clients
- Liaise with different departments on technical contacts required
- Download and check client files and process data
- Compose documents with data
- Produce proofs based on client brief
- Production in mono or colour format for delivery through print and electronic channels
- Assist in the process improvements to reduce cost
- Assist in increasing quality
- Increase efficiency and client satisfaction
- Manufacture lithographic plates
- Correct clients' art work if required
Skills and experience required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Elevated level of attention to detail as required in a technical environment
- Above average working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Proactive and highly organised
- Strong time management, planning skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Plan and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
Hours:
- Working hours initially will be 9am - 5.30pm (with an hour lunch)
- Hours will change to a shift rota once training has been complete
Salary and benefits:
- £15,500 - £16,000 (rising to £18,000 upon successful completion of the internal training program)
- Monthly bonus after 6 months probationary period has been completed
