Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Analyst to join a market leading distributor of electrical components, with an excellent local reputation as an employer of choice.

Our client is looking for an experienced candidate, who will be responsible for providing actionable insight that enables effective decision making and drives best practice through the development, maintenance and analysis of Sales and Marketing performance.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To analyse data and produce reporting that provides insight and aides best practice
  • Using analysis and insight to drive marketing activity and strategy direction that can shape the delivery of sales and customer experience
  • Measure and analyse the success of campaigns, sales and service and provide insight
  • Make all data and analysis insightful and pivotal in the decision-making process for the customer and the business
  • Adopt, develop and roll out the analysis and insight framework
  • Deliver short and long-term goals of the analysis and insight function
  • Proactively deliver meaningful and relevant analysis, presented in a way that eradicates complexity and describes opportunities in a compelling way that meets the need of the relevant stakeholder
  • Continually develop the maintenance of identified key performance indicators, dashboard and scorecard capability
  • Ensure continuation of all bespoke systems and support integration of these systems

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in similar performance analysis role
  • A proven track record of implementing and developing influential performance information and reporting
  • Experience of using analytical support tools such as SAP BW, SPSS, SQP, Business Analysis, MS Access and VBA
  • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • First class communication and influencing ability
  • Forms professional relationships and strives for high performance and
  • Focussed on personal development and growth
