We’re delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing company, who are looking for a skilled People Coordinator / HR Administrator with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
The successful candidate will provide effective, solution-focused generalist HR administration support for a group of companies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working within a fast-moving environment, with key involvement in a wide variety of HR related issues.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To deal with telephone and email enquiries in a confident and timely manner
- Responsible for managing and acting on the HR inbox
- To process status changes to workforce or employee details in the HR System
- To produce, collate and issue necessary changes to terms and conditions to employees
- Chase up sick notes, self-certificates and return to work interviews and raise any long-term sickness absence to the relevant Senior HR Advisor
- Handle all administration daily for all relevant activity; starters, leavers and operational changes
- Responsible for exit interviews
- Recruiting and sourcing candidates for job vacancies
- Organising interviews and liaising with recruitment agencies
- To participate in mail merge, data collection, HR Monthly reports and HR system updates
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience gained within a HR administrative role and environment is preferred, or strong administration skills
- Proven organization and prioritization skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and skilled communicator who can achieve desired understanding and results through writing and/or talking to internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to deal with sensitive and private information with strict confidentiality.
- Strong IT skills including intermediate level Excel
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm with an early finish on Fridays
