Are you an enterprising and proactive HR Assistant? We’re proud to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with an enviable reputation in their field, who pride themselves on delighting business customers all over the world with industry-leading research and testing solutions.
Reporting to the Head of HR, the successful applicant will provide valuable HR administrative support to the HR and Facilities Teams.
This is a temporary role with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 weeks. Please note, due to urgent business requirements, applicants must be available immediately.
As HR Assistant, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support associated with the entire employee cycle
- Supporting the recruitment process by liaising with applicants and agencies, preparing adverts, shortlisting candidates and arranging and confirming interviews
- Ensuring that the relevant onboarding and induction processes are delivered for new employees
- Updating and maintaining accurate employee records
- Monitoring sickness and absence, preparing HR reports where required
- Liaising with L&D providers to coordinate training courses and ensure relevant employees are invited to attend.
- Assisting with HR projects
We’re looking for an HR Assistant with the following skills and experience:
- Extensive previous experience as an HR Administrator or HR Assistant carrying out a variety of duties
- CIPD qualified (or studying towards qualification)
- Demonstrates a passion for HR and a commitment to staying informed of HR news and legislation
- Able to produce prompt and thorough paperwork with excellent attention to detail
- High degree of IT proficiency; confident in the use of MS Office
- Well organised individual
- Confidently communicates with colleagues in a professional, helpful and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing
- Enjoys working at pace in a busy setting, using initiative where required
- Understands the importance of diplomacy and confidentiality, with a good knowledge of GDPR
Hours of work:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday – 9.00am – 5.30pm (some flexibility available based around core hours)
- Office-based
