Our client, a successful manufacturer, are looking for an enterprising CIPD-qualified HR Manager to lead their busy HR team.
The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable, accomplished HR Manager who enjoys working collaboratively. You will coordinate and manage all of the HR needs across the business, and will demonstrate a flair for creating and delivering progressive and effective HR strategies.
As HR Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- All round Generalist HR role
- Overseeing the delivery of recruitment policies and processes, from application to onboarding
- Providing expert guidance, coaching and support to Managers in relation to all ER matters
- Evaluating, recommending and implementing L&D initiatives, ensuring training records are maintained
- Managing compensation and benefits, assisting colleagues in the resolution of payroll and pension queries
- Coordinating and monitoring all other general HR activity
We’re looking for an HR Manager with the following skills and experience:
- Extensive previous experience as a generalist HR Manager within a manufacturing environment
- CIPD qualified (minimum Level 5)
- Demonstrates a passion to drive HR within the business and a commitment to staying informed of HR news and employment legislation, along with excellent commercial acumen
- Experience of leading and motivating a small HR team
- Confident preparing and managing budgets
- High degree of IT proficiency; confident in the use of MS Office
- Well organised individual who enjoys working at pace in a busy setting
- Confidently communicates with colleagues in a professional, helpful and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing
- Full valid driving licence; willing to travel to other sites if / when required
Salary and benefits:
- £40,000 – £50,000

This is an office-based role, with a flexible working pattern based around the core hours of 9.00am – 4.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9.00am – 3.00pm (Friday).
