    Are you an enterprising and proactive HR Manager? We’re proud to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with an enviable reputation in their field. They have a strong and secure business base with a mix of manufacturing and technical services.

    The successful applicant will deliver inspiring leadership to the HR and Reception teams, as well as developing effective HR strategies in alignment with the company vision.

     

    As HR Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Managing and coaching the HR and reception teams
    • Coaching, guiding and advising managers throughout the UK and overseas in the application of HR policies and procedures, creating appropriate tools where needed
    • Working proactively with management to develop sound HR strategies
    • Ensuring effective succession planning is in place
    • Overseeing the cost-efficient allocation of the training budget
    • Meet on a monthly basis with the staff council and training staff council representatives
    • Maintaining credible HR data and robust payroll systems
    • Delivering engaging and informative staff communications through the staff bulletin
    • Developing the reward and benefit provision

     

    We’re looking for an HR Manager with the following skills and experience:

    • Extensive prior experience as an HR generalist and having developed effective HR strategy
    • MCIPD qualified
    • Accomplished people manager, having had previous HR leadership responsibilities
    • Demonstrates a passion for HR and a growth mindset and commitment to staying informed of HR legislation
    • High degree of IT proficiency; confident in the use of MS Office and HR systems
    • Well organised individual who enjoys managing deadlines and working at pace in a busy setting
    • Builds strong business relationships and confidently communicates with colleagues in a professional, helpful and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing
    • Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive “can-do” approach
    • Full valid driving licence

     

    Hours of work:

    • Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible working based around core hours)
    • Office-based

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £45,000 – £55,000
