    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
    • Hybrid working pattern – 3 days office-based, 2 days working from home.

    As Head of Social, you’ll have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Leading the social team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them achieve their goals and deliver exceptional results.
    • Developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with clients’ objectives and industry trends.
    • Acting as a primary point of contact for key client accounts, fostering strong relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Playing a key role in new business development by identifying opportunities for upselling services to existing clients and participating in pitches and proposals for potential clients.
    • Overseeing budget allocation, ensuring efficient spending and allocating resources effectively.
    • Use analytics tools to track campaign performance, analyse data, and provide actionable insights.
    • Identifying opportunities for the update and development of systems and business methods.
    • Continuously keeping informed of emerging trends and market conditions.

     

    We’re looking for a Head of Social with the following skills and experience:

    • Extensive experience in a similar management role, leading a Social Media team within a creative business or agency.
    • Prior people management responsibility; experience of building a cohesive and collaborative team.
    • In-depth knowledge of Paid & Organic Social Media platforms and relevant marketing techniques.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement data-driven, result-oriented marketing strategies.
    • Approaches tasks with curiousity, always looking for opportunities to innovate and improve.
    • Appreciates the value and importance of working collaboratively with teams across the business.
    • Able to adapt to a fast-moving business environment, with a positive approach to change.
    • Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skill set.
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and when putting together written correspondence, reports and presentations.
