A family business based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire who supply products and expertise throughout the UK, Ireland and across the world is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their team.
As an Accounts Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with day-to-day management of sales and purchase ledgers and credit control
- Multi-currency accounting
- Ensure all customer and supplier enquiries are dealt with correctly and efficiently
- Monitor and process goods in and out
- Updating of the cashbook
- Manage stock control processes
- Updating spreadsheets
- Organising post and shipments to be sent via courier
We are looking for an Accounts Administrator who has the following skills and experiences:
- Strong accounts administration background within an office-based role
- Sage 50 and QuickBooks experience is desirable but not essential
- A methodical, organised and flexible approach to work
- An understanding of the importance to detail and prioritising
- Excellent communication skills and clear telephone manner
- A positive and friendly person who can work well within a busy office
- Calm and able to cope with varied pressures of the role
- Experience using Excel (Pivot tables & VLOOKUP’s) , Outlook, Word and other Microsoft applications
This is an office-based role working 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £27,000, per annum and free onsite parking.
