Duties and responsibilities:
Transactional duties and ledger will form a key part of the role, and you will carry out the following on a day-to-day basis:
- Timely and accurate contribution and production of management information, involving detailed analysis of the Liquidity, Treasury Management, Operational activity and Capital position.
- Production and distribution of daily reports to management using Excel
- Assist in the preparation of management information for the Board as required
- Update the Finance Risk Register on a timely basis
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory returns
- Provide information on expenditure for budgetary monitoring
- Support the Financial Controller, Management Accountant and Treasury Manager in ad-hoc tasks and projects
Skills and experience required:
- Experience of analysing data using Microsoft Excel is required
- Experience of working within a Treasury role is desirable
- Currently studying an accountancy qualification is desirable but study support is provided
- Strong MS Excel skills (PIVOTTABLES, VLOOKUPS & FORMULAS) – assessment completed
- Able to give examples of having worked with outstanding attention to detail to perform tasks where accuracy was paramount
- Enjoys working as part of a team with a pro-active, positive and “can do” approach
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm with a 1 hour lunch break (35 hours per week)
