Client Relationship Manager – Accounting and Tax

Our client is seeking a qualified / part qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) Accountant with experience gained in practice. The role will involve the completion of financial compliance including VAT, corporation and personal tax returns along with some bookkeeping / management accounts. A key part of the position will be to manage and monitor the day to day relationships with clients and a third-party service provider and ensure that deadlines are tracked and adhered to and processes followed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy and varied role for small but growing business that is looking to add to its portfolio and who is seeking someone who shares a common desire to contribute in taking the business forward. This will be a full-time remote working position that will allow you to plan your own week.

Skills and experience required:

• AAT Qualified / studying ACCA or QBE
• Good working knowledge of accountancy software with Sage, Accounting Manager, TaxCalc desirable
• Previous experience of working within an accountancy firm in a compliance role
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
• Adaptable and organised with a commercial approach
• Takes a positive, resilient approach to work and enjoys problem solving
• Ability to manage relationships
• Ability to exercise judgement and work without close supervision

Salary and benefits:

• £25,000 – £30,000
• 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
• Remote working initially with flexible working at a later stage
