    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Directly reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with other members of the business leadership team
    • Taking responsibility for the management and implementation of budget planning
    • Setting and monitoring financial targets
    • Maintaining a cash focus on a daily basis
    • Liaising with central accounting teams
    • Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met commercially
    • Identifying opportunities for the update and development of systems and business methods
    • Continuously keeping informed of emerging trends and market conditions

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive experience in a similar commercial management role within a creative business or agency
    • Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
    • Relevant financial qualification or part-qualification would be beneficial (for example CIMA, ACCA or AAT)
    • Approaches tasks with curiousity, always looking for opportunities to innovate and to improve
    • Appreciates the value and importance of working collaboratively with teams across the business
    • Able to adapt to a fast-moving business environment, with a positive approach to change
    • Excellent problem-solver
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and when putting together written correspondence, reports and presentations
