We’re delighted to be recruiting a skilled Customer Service Administrator on behalf of an innovative manufacturing company based in Rugby.
The successful applicant will ensure that an exceptional service is provided to commercial customers by generating quotes, processing orders, responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly in order to maintain strong ongoing business relationships with a number of key accounts.
As Customer Service Administrator, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Processing customer enquiries, listening to their requirements and preparing detailed quotations
- Following up customer sales quotations by taking actions to convert to customer sales
- Receiving, logging and processing incoming orders through a variety of channels
- Raising internal paperwork such as pick lists, delivery notes and delivery instructions where required
- Liaising with customers proactively to advise them of despatch dates and any order delays ensuring customers are advised of any delays, offering alternatives where appropriate and amending orders as necessary
- Arranging and progressing returns, and raising replacement orders where appropriate
- Ensuring at all times that customers feel positive that enquiries and complaints will be dealt with efficiently
- Making certain that all customer account data is recorded in a timely and precise manner
We’re looking for a Customer Service Administrator with the following skills and experience:
- Prior experience in a role which involved both customer service and a range of administrative duties, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications or experience
- IT proficient, with the ability to use MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level or above
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written correspondence
Hours of work:
- Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
