We are looking to recruit a skilled Customer Service Representative on an ongoing temporary basis for approximately 12 months to join our client, an innovative solutions-based company in Kettering. You will be required to work within a busy environment dealing with all aspects of customer order entry process ensuring the highest level of customer service/satisfaction are maintained.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing customer accounts and building relationships
- Processing orders and dealing with the whole process from start to finish
- Determine product availability
- Verifying pricing, terms, product details
- Order tracking/follow up from receipt of PO to delivery
- Agreeing acceptable delivery dates with customer
- Ensuring timely communication with customer
- Maintaining customer profiles/requirements
- Liaising with shipping/planning to meet customer ETA
- Alerting management and sales of significant order trends, problems and varying customer needs
- Handling complaints, product returns, invoice adjustments/queries – creation of credit/debits
Skills and experience required:
- Confident communicator
- Active listening and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work effectively in a group/team situation
- IT proficient
- Preferred knowledge of SAP
- Export/import knowledge would be ideal however not essential
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Fridays 8.30am – 4.00pm
- 37 hour working week
Salary and benefits:
- £11.43 per hour
- Flexible working
