    We’re looking for a talented and enterprising Events Assistant / Executive to join a leading marketing services company based in Nottinghamshire. As a leader in their industry, this forward-thinking business are known for delivering exceptional corporate and consumer events which enable their clients to engage effectively and creatively with customers and employees.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Assist with the creation and management of jobs and projects
    • Provide administrative support to the Events Director and Events Producers, for example, raising purchase orders and setting up new suppliers
    • Play a key role in the creative process when pitching for events
    • Work with Events Producers to manage event schedules
    • Run working production budgets that account for personnel, equipment, and locations and include cost analysis and interpretation of financial data, licences and permissions
    • Work with producers to hire crews and regularly contract with suppliers
    • Coordinate all necessary transportation and housing for the cast and crew
    • Support on site, playing an integral role in the set-up, running and de-rig of events all over the UK

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous experience in the events industry or an Events Management Degree
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of all building and event-related equipment, including staging and rigging
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, the public, clients and contractors
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Ability to work and make decisions independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service and work to achieve client’s needs
    • Ability to be well organised and systematic when under pressure
    • Ability to work flexibly, with good timekeeping. The demands of the role and hours are flexible to meet the needs of the events schedule. Availability for night and weekend work is essential

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
