    Job description:

    We are currently recruiting for a Junior Paraplanner to join an organisation that has seen rapid growth over the past 5 years and who are now looking to add new talent to their team. The successful candidate will report into the Senior Paraplanner and will work accurately and efficiently to support the Financial Planning team to enable the achievement of targets and business growth.

    This will be a busy and varied position and there will be opportunities for progressions as the company grows.

    Applications are welcome from Wealth Management Administrators who may already be completing aspects of the paraplanner role.

     

    Salary:

    • £25,000 – £35,000 dependent on experience

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Identifying and obtaining necessary client information to prepare required suitability checks
    • Prepare suitability reports appropriate to level of experience and under relevant supervision
    • Completion of technical research and analysis
    • Ensure all relevant compliance paperwork has been carried out
    • Preparation of correspondence ensuring scanned and attached to Client file and portal
    • Ensure new business files are compliant with FCA and Company guidelines
    • Ensure that all client records and data are maintained accurately
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
    • Client query resolution ensuring appropriate investigation

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • 6-12 months previous experience within a trainee / junior paraplanner position
    • Currently studying CII Diploma in financial planning
    • Understanding of investments, pensions, protection planning inheritance tax from a wealth management background
    • Strong IT skill set
    • Demonstrates a growth mindset and an interest in seeing the role and business develop
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, working with positivity, charisma, and a tireless drive for results
