    We are currently supporting the recruitment of a skilled and detail-focused Finance Analyst for an innovative and forward-thinking Corby business.

    The successful applicant will provide the organisation with a valuable insight into financial and performance-related data, which in turn will inform strategical decision-making processes and secure the ongoing overall profitability of the business.

    The role is based on-site at the client’s premises in Corby and offers a bright and creative working environment.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development and production of monthly management reporting, ensuring integrity, accuracy and timely information
    • Responsibility for producing KPI’s and performance reporting
    • Assistance with budgets and regular forecasting
    • Understanding and challenging current business practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve process and deliver business growth objectives
    • Consolidating and analysing company data (products) considering company goals and factory capacity forecasting
    • New product costings
    • Stock management and valuation
    • Undertaking process and functional efficiency reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Preparing financial reports with conclusions that can be used to implement more effective operational strategies
    • Developing, collating and monitoring data quality metrics on current and new clients, current, new products and growth opportunities / customer profitability
    • Ad-hoc business reporting

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Qualified or part qualified (ACCA / CIMA/ ACA)
    • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment is desirable
    • Strong technical and analytical skills are a must for this role including advanced Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Navision desirable
    • Cross functional working (commercial, IT, production)
    • Clear, effective communication style, with the ability to manage key stakeholders
    • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
    • Ability to Interpret and translate business requirements
