Accountant

We are seeking applications from practice candidates who are looking for a new opportunity with a growing Accountancy firm who currently have offices in Cambridgeshire and Rutland. The role will be office based and predominantly be dealing with the accounting and tax requirements for SME’s but if you have completed bookkeeping in practice, we would still be interested in hearing from you.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Accounts preparation
• Management accounts
• Bookkeeping
• VAT returns
• Run PAYE schemes
• Personal Tax Returns

Skills and experience required:

• Minimum of 3 experience within Practice, completing bookkeeping or preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, companies and partnerships
• Part or qualified AAT, ACCA or ACA or QBE
• Professional and organised approach to work
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Hours:

• Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Salary and benefits:

• £25,000 – £38,000
