We are currently recruiting for a proactive, HR Advisor with experience in absence management to join our client based in Leicester, an industry leading international manufacturer.
You will be joining the business to support them on an employee absenteeism project for around 2-3 months working closely with line managers providing advice and guidance, ensuring the correct processes are followed.
Due to demand and business requirements, applicants must be available to start with immediate effect.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Using the HR system to put together absence records
- Ensuring the absence management process is followed throughout the business
- Liaising with colleagues and hiring managers
- Providing advice to managers on absenteeism and how this can be reduced
- Work closely with the Payroll manager to update and build history on absences
- Analysing trends related to absence
- Typing and sending out letters
- Making welfare calls as and when required
Skills and experience required:
- Absence management experience/coordination
- Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers
- Understanding of legal issues and HR laws
- Experience in Microsoft Office to a good standard, particularly Excel
- Organised and able to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm
- Friday 8.30am – 2.00pm
Salary and benefits:
- £12.82 per hour
- Parking available on site
