Financial Accountant – Temporary

This temporary Financial Accountant role is working on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch based office and 2 days working from home. This is a temporary contract for approximately 3 months.

The company were established in 1830 so have been around for a while, but it doesn’t mean they are behind the times. They operate UK wide advising and managing a range of client portfolios with national visibility across all the 6-property market sectors; rural, commercial, development, residential, infrastructure services and sustainable energy.

As Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Helping navigate through financial transactions in preparation for a full integration of a recently announced merger
• Controlling the transactions of 2 entities transacting on behalf of each other
• Analysing entries, financial data and reconciling information
• Dealing with cash settlements
• Reviewing purchase and sales ledger

We are really keen to speak to people about this Financial Accountant opportunity who have the following skills and experience:

• AAT qualified accountant or have a high level of accounts experience
• Computer literate with advanced Excel skills and the ability to pick up relevant ledger systems
• The ability to quickly build and establish strong relationships, both face to face and remotely

In return you will receive a salary of £38,000 – £45,000 pa.
