    Job description:

    Our client are a leading global systems provider of highly dynamic, automated, and turnkey logistics solutions are seeking a candidate on a temporary basis to assist with accounts and VAT reporting. The role will report into the Finance Operations Manager and Head of Accounting and will support the operations team and will be 50% purchase ledger and 50% VAT and reporting work.

     

    Salary, benefits and hours:

    • £15 per hour
    • 20 days + 8 bank holidays (pro-rata)

    • 40 hours per week Monday – Friday (core hours 10am – 4pm)

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Supporting the processing of invoices (GBP / EUR) onto their inhouse system and working with the team in the Netherlands
    • Processing of information for both UK and overseas VAT returns and assisting with any queries
    • Assistance with month end reporting as required

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Experience and understanding of completing VAT returns and reporting
    • Experience of purchase ledger
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Experience of using accounting software packages
    • Good working knowledge of Excel
