Job description:
We’re currently welcoming applications from finance candidates who are looking for the opportunity to work within a community-focused financial organisation.
The role will assist the Treasury Manager and Data Analyst in the production of regular management and statutory information, MI, and Regulatory Reporting.
You’ll join a friendly team and play an important part in supporting the treasury function at the heart of this well-reputed local business.
Salary and benefits:
- £25,000 – £30,000 dependent upon experience / banking environment
- Study support (AAT / CIMA)
- 24 days holiday plus additional birth month day holiday, this provides a total annual entitlement of 25 days.

- Pension (10% employer / 5% employee)
- Hybrid working (2 days in the office / 3 days at home)
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm with a 1 hour lunch break
Duties and responsibilities:
- Production and distribution of daily liquidity reports to management
- Collate and analyse information to complete and submit relevant regulatory returns
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory returns relating to liquidity and treasury exposures
- Performing tasks within the ‘middle office’ of Treasury function (data analysis and reporting)
- Liaise with the Bank of England regarding loan data pools and any other ad hoc tasks
- Provide support and cover for the Treasury Manager and Data Analyst as required
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role as an accounts / finance assistant within a treasury function or banking environment
- AAT qualified or currently studying an accountancy qualification
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s and formulas)
- Able to give examples of having worked with outstanding attention to detail to perform tasks where accuracy was paramount.
- Enjoys working as part of a team with a pro-active, positive and “can do” approach.
