We’re currently recruiting a skilled and enterprising Apprenticeship Coordinator on behalf of a rapidly growing local training provider.
In this varied and interesting role, the successful applicant will coordinate and administer the apprenticeship journey from initial enquiry to end point assessment. As part of a friendly and collaborative team, you will act as an ambassador for the business, demonstrating professionalism and excellent communication skills at all times.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Completing the enrolment, initial assessment and diagnostics processes for new apprentices.
- Carrying out interviews, checking eligibility of apprentices and providing information to help apprentices and their employers make informed decisions.
- Identifying any additional support needs for the apprentice.
- Ensuring the apprentices’ journey map template has been allocated correctly on the system.
- Quality sampling of a variety of documentation to ensure compliant with the ESFA and Ofsted requirements.
- Generating a variety of data reports as requested by the management team.
- Reviewing apprentice progress reports and providing the management team with a high level overview.
- Supporting coaches to manage and oversee the gateway and EPA process including updating all records needed for EPA.
- Supporting the training team to plan and deliver functional skills learning and tests.
- Completing the closure process when an apprentice achieves the programmes or terminates from the apprenticeship programme, including all compliance checks inline with the ESFA requirements.
Skills and experience required:
- Extensive previous experience in a similar role, carrying out administration for apprenticeship schemes or alternatively within a HR, L & D, training or recruitment environment where similar duties are involved.
- IT proficient, and confident in the use of MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Good understanding and knowledge of training and development techniques.
- Track record of delivering accurate and timely work in a busy environment.
- Proven commitment to accuracy and quality.
- The ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- GCSE Maths and English A-C.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week.
Salary:
- £18,000 – £25,000
- Free parking
- 22 days annual leave (+ bank holidays)
