    We’re recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a manufacturing organisation based in Corby.

    You will play a key role within the finance function, working closely with the Management Team taking responsibility for some of the reporting tasks and processes from the wider group. You will also be taking responsibility for day to day finance tasks and supporting the Finance Manager in producing accurate financial and management reporting enabling the company to make sound commercial decisions. This role may also suit someone who is already assisting within Management Accounts but is wanting to take that next step.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Owning the trial balance including monthly balance sheet reconciliations
    • Completing all month end tasks including:
      • Accruals and prepayments
      • Stock management and valuation
      • Intercompany
      • Fixed assets (£32m net book value)
    • Medium and long term cashflow forecasting and managing the factoring process
    • Assisting with budgeting and reforecasting
    • Production of KPI’s and performance reporting
    • Working closely with non-finance teams on all finance related queries
    • Completion of ad-hoc reporting as required
    • Proactively reviewing and improving internal processes

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
    • Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
    • Strong reporting and analytical skill set required
    • Good level of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables)
    • Experience of Microsoft Navision advantageous
    • Experience of cross functional working (commercial, IT, production)
    • Self-sufficient, organised and very ‘hands on’

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5pm OR 9.00am – 5.30pm

     

    Salary

    • Up to £40,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications
