We’re proud to be recruiting on behalf of an extremely well-reputed and community-focused local business, who are looking for an experienced customer focused administrator to join their mortgage sales team.
The successful candidate will perform a range of clerical duties and deliver exceptional customer service via broker and direct mortgage sales channels, in order to support the team in meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
You’ll also provide fast, efficient administrative support to other business areas, colleagues and intermediary partners.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily mortgage fee reconciliation
- Updating pipeline data accurately and in a timely manner
- Entering intermediary administration details on mortgage systems
- Completing mortgage product administration as/when required
- Distributing mortgage sales administration documents
- Populating the mortgage tracking sheet daily.
- Reporting and ensuring the resolution of IT faults concerning mortgage systems
- Dealing with general telephone calls and emails
- Preparing information for line-manager as necessary
- Other reasonable administrative duties as may be required.
Skills and experience required:
- Evidence of a prior role in financial services administration would be ideal, however applications are also welcomed from candidates with extensive customer services and administrative experience.
- Confident level of IT proficiency, with a good working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Able to give examples of having previously worked with excellent attention to detail in an organised and methodical fashion
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrates a friendly, helpful and positive “can-do” approach to any task
Hours of work:
- 35 hours per week (9.00am – 5.00pm each day with a one-hour lunch break)
Salary and benefits:
- £18,000 – £20,000
