    Our client is seeking an experienced QBE or part/qualified Accountant to join their team to provide a broad but high level of client service to primarily owner-managed businesses including sole traders, companies and partnerships. Services provided will include accounts preparation, management accounts, PAYE schemes, personal and corporation tax computations, VAT and providing advice to these clients about their personal and business matters.

    This role can be full-time or part-time and offers the opportunity of working on your own portfolio of clients. This role is office based but our client can offer flexible working.

     

    Working on your own portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for the organisation of work for your clients including:

    • Accounts preparation
    • Management accounts
    • VAT returns
    • Run PAYE schemes
    • Personal tax returns and corporation tax computations

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within practice preparing and reviewing accounts for sole traders, companies and partnerships
    • Part or qualified AAT, ACCA or ACA or QBE
    • Must be experienced in VAT, corporation and personal tax
    • Experience of PTP, VT Transaction and Sage would be advantageous
    • Professional and organised approach to work
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Car driver

     

    Hours:

    • Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time considered (30 hours)

     

    Salary and benefits:
