Job description:
On behalf of a well-established and highly respected Leicestershire business within the equipment and machinery sector, we are delighted to be recruiting for a skilled Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative team, supporting the full lifecycle of equipment sales.

Duties and responsibilities
- Manage the full order-to-delivery process, including order entry, specification checks, invoicing, and documentation completion
- Maintain accurate records within the Dealer Management System (DMS), ensuring data integrity and consistency
- Act as a key point of contact between sales administration and the workshop, resolving queries and supporting process improvements
- Coordinate with suppliers, raise purchase orders, and liaise with finance providers
- Support inventory management, machine reservations, and pre-order requirements
- Produce and maintain stock reports, website updates, and external listings
- Assist with reporting, project work, and continuous improvement initiatives across the department
Required skills and experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within sales, logistics, or a related environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working with data and reports
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and support process improvements
- Understanding of machinery or equipment sectors (or willingness to learn) is advantageous
