    We’re delighted to be recruiting a skilled HR professional on behalf of an innovative manufacturing company based in Market Harborough. Reporting to the MD, the HR Manager will provide a standalone, end to end HR service for the business.

     

    As HR Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Hands on involvement in all recruitment, actively planning the best approach to attract talent
    • Coaching, challenging and advising the management team to ensure business objectives are met
    • Taking an active lead in developing and refining existing policies
    • Developing plans that help to develop and engage employees
    • Managing all employee relations, offering guidance on a range of disciplinary and grievance issues
    • Ensuring all legal guidelines are adhered to throughout all documents and discussions.
    • Supporting the entire employee lifecycle including on-boarding and exit processes

    We’re looking for a HR Manager with the following skills and experience:

    • Extensive experience in an HR role within manufacturing, logistics or distribution.
    • Sound knowledge of current statutory regulations within HR
    • Being aware of trends and issues in the external environment that affect employees
    • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
    • Self-motivated, with a helpful and positive approach
    • Level 5 CIPD Qualified (or equivalent)
    • IT proficient, with the ability to use MS Word and Excel at an intermediate level or above.
    • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, professional SLT.

     

    Hours of work:

    • 39 hours per week, 8.30am -5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 4.00pm Friday

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £45,000 – £47,000
