    Job description:

    A leading accountancy business in Leicester are seeking a skilled and dedicated receptionist/administrator to join their friendly team.

    As the first point of contact for clients, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to multitask effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    As an integral part of our team, you will also provide administrative support to accountants and other staff members. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role within a dynamic and growing organisation.

    • 38.5 hours per week; 8.30am – 5.15pm Monday – Thursday, 8.30am – 5.00pm Friday

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Answering and forwarding incoming telephone calls, taking messages when needed
    • Meeting and greeting clients and arranging any required refreshments
    • Managing meeting room bookings, including advance preparation and subsequent tidying
    • Ensuring the reception area is organised and tidy at all times
    • Ordering stationery and other supplies
    • Coordinating health and safety checks and fire alarm tests
    • Entering data onto spreadsheets and keeping internal systems updated with accurate information
    • Carrying out a wide range of administrative duties, including (but not limited to) document creation, correspondence, filing, archiving and booking training

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive prior experience in a similar role comprising of both reception and administration duties, ideally within a professional services environment
    • IT proficient, with excellent knowledge of MS Office
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently with initiative and a proactive approach
    • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
    • Strong attention to detail, with good organisational and prioritisation skills
