    Job description:

    We’re looking for a driven Project Manager with a specialism in retail design to join the friendly team at a leading creative business in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver showstopping retail design projects within a dynamic, fast-paced agency environment.

    Salary and benefits:

    • £30,000 – £40,000
    • Monday to Friday, core hours 9.00am – 5.00pm (flexi-time available 8.00am – 5.30pm)
    • Evening and weekend work may sometimes be required dependent on project itineraries

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Coordinating the rapid turnaround of projects to a high quality within time and budget
    • Managing retail projects from Client brief through to design, manufacture and installation
    • Raising quotes for projects, liaising with suppliers and internal departments
    • Liaising with approved contractors to organise all aspects of on-site works
    • Recording, costing and managing projects and variations of the project as they change
    • Producing work programmes and schedules, working to a CPA
    • Exercising effective supplier negotiations
    • Attending client and retailer meetings, some of which may be abroad
    • Helping to prepare H&S documentation as needed for specific jobs
    • Supporting Account Managers and Account Directors with any other ad hoc projects

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive prior experience in an retail design project management role, ideally with experience of shop fitting and a sound knowledge of design and manufacture processes
    • A full clean driving licence is necessary for the requirements of this opportunity
    • IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Office
    • Confidence reading drawings is essential; AutoCAD skills would also be beneficial
    • Demonstrates a natural flair for maintaining strong client relationships with confidence and tact
    • Highly organised, commercially astute and able to prioritise workload effectively
    • Positive, pro-active and self-motivated approach to work
    • Excellent time management and experience working to deadlines
    • Ability to build rapport and develop long-lasting business relationships
