We’re proud to be recruiting an enterprising Client Relationship Manager on behalf of a leading local financial services business going through a period of rapid expansion and success.
The successful applicant will play a crucial part in the daily management and administration of key accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a well organised and motivated individual to join a highly reputed company widely known in its sector for its industry expertise.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday; either full-time (8.30am – 5.00pm) or part-time (9.00am – 3.00pm) each day
- Hybrid working maybe considered.
Salary and benefits:
- £30,000 – £40,000
- Free parking
- 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Quarterly bonus scheme
As Client Relationship Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Daily Management of a portfolio of accounts, including all aspect from onboarding to final repayment.
- Assisting the business development team with compliance, AML checks, and document completion.
- Ensuring independent check of all documentation including any security and facility letters are undertaken before any funds drawn down.
- Chasing MI and updating spreadsheets to ensure receipt of timely and up to date information.
- Liaising with Import and Export teams to ensure operation of facilities is as anticipated.
- Preparing a range of documents including annual renewal papers for completion and approval.
- Immediately reporting any unpaid DD or variations in payment
- Checking receipt of commission payments to required timescale.
- Maintaining credit insurance or Guarantee indemnity premiums as required.
- Participating actively in promoting the business by being a great ambassador for the company.
We’re looking for a Client Relationship Manager with the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience in administration, ideally in a financial services or banking environment
- Able to understand and interpret financial terms and information, including audited accounts, management accounts and working capital cycles.
- Fully conversant with the perfection of security, facility letters, financial covenants and the legal implications of each document.
- IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Professional and engaging communication style, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to liaise confidently and effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Evidence of producing professional documents and correspondence to a consistently high standard, with excellent grammatical accuracy and attention to detail
- Works with a positive, team-focused approach.
