    Job description:

    We’re delighted to be recruiting for a knowledgeable and proactive Group HSEQ Manager on behalf of an industry leading contractor with a reputation for excellence.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for championing and promoting HSEQ awareness across the organisation, by sharing good practice on health and safety matters and disseminating information across the company as appropriate.

    You will also ensure the business is legally compliant with all HSEQ legislation, working collaboratively with (and training) all employees to manage, monitor and improve health, safety and quality standards in the workplace.

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • Circa £50,000

    Hours of work:

    • Office based Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm

     

    As Group HSEQ Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Managing and monitoring all aspects of the Quality Management system
    • Coordinating all relevant training activity and maintaining accurate training records
    • Maximising and managing the funding and grants available to the company
    • Overseeing and monitoring all sub-contractor and supplier HSEQ documentation
    • Arranging internal audits and other quality assurance activities
    • Undertaking site audits / compliance inspections and investigating non-compliance site issues
    • Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues
    • Collecting and compiling statistical data relating to quality matters and seek continual improvement
    • Managing the required vehicle and plant records including the recording of daily plant checks
    • Establishing and maintaining formal records/manual of all O&M maintenance requirements
    • Leading the auditing and monitoring of Quality Assurance objectives
    • Producing relevant reports for management meetings and action plans as required
    • Create and obtain utility plans and data

     

    We’re looking for a Group HSEQ Manager with the following skills and experience:

    • NEBOSH Qualified
    • Extensive HSEQ Management experience, ideally within a construction environment (or similar)
    • Detailed knowledge of ISO and quality management systems
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and influencing skills
    • IT proficient, with a sound understanding of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrates a methodical and organised approach with the capacity to use initiative
