    We’re delighted to be assisting the recruitment of a Returns Administrator for a leading distributer with an international presence.

    The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly and industrious team and will co-ordinate returns within the warehouse. This role would be suited to someone with an interest in working in a warehouse environment but who is happy to get involved in administration tasks and liaising with other areas of the business.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    Execute and perform returns activities within the warehouse including but not limited to:

    • Unpacking and booking of return products onto SAP system
    • Review of returned products for fault and allocating correct coding (scrap, faulty, incorrect stock sent etc)
    • Review of faulty stock with warehouse for component parts
    • Receiving of gas cylinders and refilling (some lifting required)
    • Processing of delivery note information onto spreadsheets for internal sales team
    • Assisting with the movement of stock where required
    • Ensuring that all work carried out meets the required levels of accuracy and quality including documentation
    • All Health and Safety policies are adhered to
    • Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided by our client but a willingness to get involved and a good work ethic are paramount to being successful in this role

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Key attention to detail as multiple products returned and correct coding is essential
    • Good work ethic and a willingness to learn
    • Experience of working in a warehouse / supply chain environment is desirable but not essential
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • IT skills
    • FLT licence desirable but not essential

     

    Hours:

    • 8am – 5.30pm (1/2-hour lunch + 2 x 10-minute breaks) Mon – Fri with every 4th Friday a half day working

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • Circa £23,000
    • 20 days + 8 bank holidays (raising by 1 day per year to a maximum of 23 days)
