    We’re proud to be working with an award-winning local company who are looking for an enterprising professional to join their knowledgeable and resourceful sales team as a New Business Executive.

    Through their provision of dedicated specialist account management, the company are extremely well-reputed in their industry and have developed several prestigious partnerships with a number of leading service providers.

    Working within a dynamic sales environment, the successful applicant will make B2B outbound calls to gather new leads for the Field Sales team. You will take a competitive and resilient approach and be passionate about
    achieving set targets while working in a highly organised fashion.

    Full training will be provided on the company product portfolio. However, any experience within the telecommunications sector would be beneficial.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Making a minimum of 70 calls daily to prospective customers in order to sell the company product range
    • Using a sound understanding of customers’ business needs to identify and sell solutions, products and services, in order to achieve quarterly sale targets
    • Building strong working relationships with prospective new clients from introductory call through to completion
    • Re-engaging with previous customers to identify and progress new sales opportunities within existing accounts
    • Responding to incoming queries
    • Securing legitimate appointments
    • Organising and taking responsibility for opportunities and leads on the CRM system to ensure a seamless handover to the Field Sales Consultant
    • Delivering a professional sales process whilst prioritising customer service

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Previous experience of working successfully to sales targets, ideally within a telecommunications, utilities or services environment
    • Competitive and hungry for sales, with clear drive, commitment and enthusiasm for securing leads and appointments
    • Listens carefully and takes an analytical and problem-solving approach to identifying customer needs, with a natural ability to propose the ideal solution of benefit to the customer
    • IT proficient, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Demonstrates knowledge, skills, good judgment, and integrity
    • Takes ownership and responsibility for decisions and actions
    • Dedicated to providing a quality and efficient service to customers and going extra mile to deliver results
    • Confident, self-motivated, results driven and able to work independently or as part of a team
    • Strong time management and organisational skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, liaising with customers and colleagues in a friendly and helpful manner at all times.

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £19,500 + £3k OTE
    • Hybrid working – 3 days office based and 2 days working from home
