    We’re delighted to be helping a successful financial services business in Market Harborough to recruit a skilled IFA administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, well-reputed local team who are trusted financial advisors to a large portfolio of private and business clients.

    The successful applicant will assist with a range of clerical duties, including elements of paraplanning administration.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Checking and preparing Client Reviews ahead of meetings, and ensuring Post-Reviews and New Advice files are completed in accordance with internal processes
    • Writing and sending out Fund Switch, Top up, Suitability & Client Review letters
    • Ensuring back-office procedures run smoothly, and that templates, registers, onboarding and reports are used and completed correctly, identifying any opportunities for improving or streamlining processes.
    • Researching products and / or investment solutions using tools when required
    • Some audio dictation
    • Ensuring Policy Cash is maintained as well as making sure client taxable income is managed and relevant alerts are created
    • Organising staff days out around the Company anniversary and Christmas.

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive previous experience of providing similar administrative support to an IFA, or within a similar financial services business
    • Experience of using an adviser back-office system and industry research software such as Defaqto or Dynamic Planner is essential
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • IT proficient, with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
    • Self-motivated and happy to work independently.

     

    Hours of work:

    • 4 days per week; Mon – Thu 9:30am – 4:30pm (7 hours per day)

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £22,000 – £25,000 FTE (salary will be pro-rata based on a 39.5hr week)
