Job description:
We’re seeking a part-time temporary Accounts Administrator to assist a backlog of work on behalf of a charitable organisation based in Market Harborough.
This is a temporary role, providing accounts administration cover for a period of approximately 4-8 weeks. Due to the urgent nature of the vacancy, applicants should be available immediately.
Salary and benefits:
- £12.50 per hour
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays pro-rata
- 14-21 hours per week
Duties and responsibilities
- Processing of daily bank reconciliations
- Matching of payments against invoices (including batched payments)
- Identification of discrepancies
- Completion of Excel reports
- Processing and reconciling expenses and credit card receipts
- Processing of accounts payable supplier invoices.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous accounting experience not required as you will be trained in their system
- Good Excel skills
