    Job description:

    On behalf of a leading educational organisation in Corby, we’re looking for an enterprising and proactive Temporary HR Administrator with excellent organisational and communication skills.

    The successful applicant will provide efficient HR and recruitment clerical support to all staff.

    Please note, this is a temporary assignment with an anticipated duration of approximately 8 weeks, which may potentially be extended. Due to urgent business requirements, candidates must be immediately available.

     

    Salary and hours of work:

    • £12.82 – £13.85 per hour
    • Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm

     

    As HR Administrator, you’ll have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Conducting key recruitment tasks such as advertising, shortlisting and coordination of interviews
    • Coordinating and conducting pre-interview and pre-employment compliance checks
    • Arranging onboarding and inductions
    • Maintaining all personnel files and HR records in line with best practice
    • Being a point of contact for HR queries and providing basic advice on policies and procedures
    • Using templates to produce and issue a range of HR documents
    • Undertaking a range of other administrative HR support duties as required

     

    We’re looking for an HR Administrator with the following skills and experience:

    • Previous experience as a HR Administrator, in a role with extensive involvement in recruitment and selection processes
    • English and Maths GCSE or equivalent
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Enjoys working in busy and demanding environment, whilst working efficiently at pace
    • High degree of IT literacy; confident in the use of MS Office
    • Demonstrates a collaborative, problem solving approach as part of a team
    • Communicates with colleagues in a helpful and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing
    • Promotes equality and diversity throughout the organisation
    • Sound understanding of GDPR and the important of confidentiality
    • Experience within an educational setting would be advantageous
