We’re proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-reputed SME business who are currently seeking a Customer Sales & Support Executive to join their growing organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long term career within the transport and logistics industry.
Working alongside the Customer Support Manager and Commercial Director, this is a diverse role supporting all customer and sales operations within the business, working within a small and enthusiastic team environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the Customer Support Manager with pricing and general account management
- Assisting with job management and pricing for the warehouse and transport teams
- Shadowing the Commercial Director and Customer Support Manager
- Managing customer performance statistics
- General customer service duties including dealing with any problems and resolving customer issues
- Checking in customers and dealing with any queries
- Any other administrative tasks
Skills and experience required:
- Naturally enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
- Good levels of communication and listening skills
- Energetic and dynamic
- Confident telephone manner
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Flexible and adaptable

- Willing to learn and use own initiative
- Someone that is a self-starter, supportive and enjoys working within a friendly team environment
- IT literate with a good understanding of MS Excel
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6.30pm (1st week)
- Monday to Friday 10.00am – 8.00pm (2nd week)
Salary and benefits:
- £23,000 – £28,000
- 20 days annual holiday and 8 bank holidays
- Statutory pension
- On-site parking
