    We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing expert with real vision and ambition to join a leading marketing services company, known for helping a wide range of international brands to communicate effectively with consumers through a variety of eyecatching and engaging digital innovations.

    The successful applicant will lead the creation and implementation of creative and engaging social media strategies for a range of clients, as well as managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels.

    Based at a state-of-the art high-tech hub, you’ll join a hardworking management team who welcome honest feedback and actively encourage innovation and professional development. The role will be pivotal in defining and developing the company’s social media offering, so the candidate must demonstrate outstanding commercial, creative and technical acumen, alongside excellent communication skills.

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Managing clients’ online presence by developing a strategy, producing good content, analysing usage data, and managing projects and campaigns.
    • Developing creative and engaging social media strategies.
    • Managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels.
    • Delivering content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Sprinklr and Hootsuite.
    • Benchmarking and forming key relationships with influencers and trends.
    • Together with Account managers and Project Managers, monitoring, tracking, analysing and reporting on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
    • Working with the Commercial Director to manage a budget for social media activities.
    • Encouraging collaboration across teams and departments to adapt and learn.
    • Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
    • Identifying opportunities for the update and development of systems and business methods.
    • Continuously keeping informed of emerging trends and market conditions.
    • Reporting to the Managing Director, and working alongside the other business leaders.

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Extensive experience in a similar management role, leading the social media team within a creative services business or agency.
    • Prior people management responsibility; experience of building a cohesive and collaborative team.
    • Strong IT skills and an outstanding knowledge and understanding of all major social media channels, as well as any emerging trends.
    • Sound knowledge of web standards and SEO best practices.
    • Confident in managing the requirements of multiple clients and key accounts.
    • Approaches tasks with curiousity, always looking for opportunities to innovate and to improve
    • Appreciates the value and importance of working collaboratively with teams across the business
    • Able to adapt to a fast-moving business environment, with a positive approach to change
    • Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skill set
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm and tenacity
    • Outstanding communication skills, both verbally and when putting together written correspondence, reports and presentations.

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
