We’re delighted to be recruiting an Office Assistant vacancy on behalf of a well-established, award-winning business based in East Goscote. This role offers a varied and engaging position within a supportive team, where customer service and attention to detail are highly valued. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of administration, customer interaction, and operational support in a friendly, professional environment.
 

  • £13 per hour
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
  • Full-time on-site; showroom based with free parking

Duties and responsibilities

  • Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a professional introduction to products and services
  • Support the sales team with preparing quotations and administration
  • Handle inbound enquiries via phone and email, directing them to the appropriate team member
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable showroom environment
  • Assist with scheduling, data entry, and administration using CRM systems
  • Coordinate customer appointments, surveys, and general correspondence

Required skills and experience

  • Experience in an administrative role involving the delivery of excellent customer service
  • Confident communicator, both in person and over the phone
  • Good organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Positive and adaptable approach, with willingness to support across different areas
  • Comfortable using IT systems and general office software
  • Experience with accounting or CRM systems is advantageous but not essential
