  • £26,000 – £28,000pa
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm

Duties and responsibilities

  • Process parts requests accurately for production, service teams, engineers and customers
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain inventory records and place orders to ensure stock availability
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times and order queries
  • Prepare quotations, process parts sales and identify opportunities to increase parts revenue
  • Receive, check, record and allocate incoming goods, ensuring inventory information remains accurate
  • Coordinate the picking, issuing and despatch of parts, maintaining all relevant documentation
  • Manage stock control activities including cycle counts, workshop stock, consumables and departmental supplies

Required skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a Parts Controller, stock control, inventory or similar role is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good IT skills, including experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload effectively
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify sales opportunities and add value
  • Knowledge of vehicle parts, engineering components, logistics processes or supplier management would be advantageous
