    Due to continued growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Events & Exhibitions Coordinator to join a dynamic and award-winning creative agency.

    As part of a friendly, committed and highly skilled team, the successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for the events industry along with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You’ll enjoy key involvement in the delivery of a wide range of large-scale creative projects for blue chip brands, and will provide essential support to Project Managers, working collaboratively to exceed client and business objectives and expectations.

    This is a full-time, permanent vacancy which offers a hybrid working pattern and a range of excellent benefits. As part of this interesting and truly varied role, there will occasionally be the exciting opportunity to travel both in the UK and overseas.

     

    As Events Coordinator, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Ensuring that all critical deadlines are met for each project
    • Making effective use of in-house support systems & processes
    • Assisting with all F&B requirements and data such as menu choices and delegate dietary requirements
    • Taking responsibility for the invitation and attendee management process including attendee communication, and reporting utilising the registration system
    • Researching, sourcing and negotiating with third party suppliers where required, obtaining and uploading any relevant invoices for approval by Project Managers
    • Preparing for and attending client meetings, debriefs and site inspections and documenting accordingly
    • Supporting project managers by creating and circulating key project documents
    • Travelling as part of a team to assist with event delivery
    • Preparing and sending information to clients, such as events proposals, registration reports and feedback summaries
    • Submitting accurate expenses in line with company expense policy

     

    We’re looking for an Events Coordinator with the following skills and experience:

    • Passion for events, pursued either through an educational qualification in an events subject, or otherwise able to demonstrate experience in the events management sector via employment or volunteering
    • Committed to continuously developing a sound knowledge of the events sector and staying informed of news and industry trends
    • Creative thinker with ability to generate new ideas
    • Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; with the ability to build and maintain good long-term business relationships with hotels, venues and suppliers
    • Enjoys contributing ideas and working as part of a collaborative team
    • Due to the nature of the role, a full valid driving licence is required.

     

    Hours of work

    • 9.00am – 5.30pm
    • Mon and Friday work from Home, office-based Tues / Wed / Thurs
    • Occasional weekend work with time off in lieu

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £20,000 – £25,000 dependent on experience
    • Performance-related bonus
