Are you a talented and enterprising HR Manager? We are working exclusively with a prestigious design-led home and lifestyle brand based in Loughborough. This is a superb HR Generalist, stand-alone where you will be part of the Management Team with support from HR Co-ordinator.
In this an extremely varied and interesting role, the successful applicant will combine their up-to-the-minute HR expertise and flair for strategic innovation to lead the implementation of cutting-edge people initiatives within the business.

As HR Manager, you’ll have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all HR practices are in line with current employment legislation
- Leading all ER casework including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
- Advising and supporting managers on all areas of T&C’s and sharing best practice with them
- Monitor, review and develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
- Implementing learning and development policy including delivering in house training where possible
- Overseeing and championing the Company’s reward and recognition scheme
- Providing advice on recruitment and selection strategies ensuring that a fair process is carried out
- Managing talent and succession planning
- Participating in the implementation of specific projects to help align the workforce with strategic goals
- Supporting change management processes
We’re looking for an HR Manager with the following skills and experience:
- CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above
- Extensive experience of working in a generalist HR Manager role in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can prioritise effectively accordingly
- Sound knowledge of GDPR regulations with the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- A strong team player with good customer service and positive problem solving skills
- Good IT skills in Microsoft Office
