    Job description:

    Our client, a well-established and community-focused financial organisation, are seeking candidates with Treasury and MI Implementation Management experience. The role will be to review and develop improvements in key financial processes throughout their organisation and implement and embed change to the business where required. You will work with a friendly and cohesive Finance / Treasury team and report into the Financial Controller.

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • Up to £50,000
    • Hybrid working  (2 days in the office / 3 days at home)
    • May be considered on remote basis with a requirement of going to the office 2-3 times per month
    • 27 days holiday plus additional birth month day holiday, this provides a total annual entitlement of 28 days
    • Pension up to 5% employee / 10% employer
    • Life Assurance x 4
    • Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm with 1-hour lunch break (35-hour working week)
    • This will be a remote / hybrid role whereby you will need to visit the offices 2 / 3 times a month

     

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • To review and document regulatory change: Assumptions and Interpretations, TM1 processes and build out, procedures. To embed these into the BAU teams. Initially this will relate to Basel 3.1 and Strong and Simple framework
    • To understand and contribute to the development of a secured funding programme. To identify data requirements and be responsible for the data and reporting to support the funding line
    • To understand and contribute to growth initiatives, such as ‘forward flow’ lending agreements. To identify data requirements and be responsible for the data and reporting to support the lending initiative. This will include Board MI and Regulatory Reporting of these loans.
    • To review and develop improvements in key financial processes
    • Provide support to the Finance and Treasury & MI Managers and teams
    • To support the Treasury and Finance function with projects, for example, system replacement and development
    • To Review the data processes for finance such that a common shared process can be used by all members of the team
    • Be the finance lead in the implementation of a business ‘data warehouse’
    • Identify and report Risk Events to allow policies and procedures to be reviewed
    • To report any suspicions or actual instances of financial crime, including money laundering and fraud, to the MLRO/DMLRO immediately

     

    Skills and experience required:

    • Accounting or treasury qualifications
    • Working knowledge of ALMIS software or understanding of other banking regulatory reporting and accounting software
    • Advanced Excel – data manipulation
    • Experience of working within a banking / financial environment
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills
