    Job description:

    We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly-skilled Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive and well-organised support to the Managing Director of a busy Northamptonshire company.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished EA who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will have a proven career history of providing seamless executive-level business support within a large organisation, ideally within the manufacturing sector.

     

    Hours:

    • Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £36,000
    • Free parking
    • Life assurance – x3 salary
    • 20 days holiday, plus one additional day further every year after two years up to a maximum of 25 days

     

    As Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, you’ll have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Delivering seamless administrative support to the Managing Director
    • Creating and maintaining all systems and records ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
    • Carrying out effective diary and inbox management
    • Scheduling meetings, issuing agendas and arranging suitable venues
    • Providing minute taking support
    • Producing professional documents and reports
    • Managing all incoming written correspondence
    • Making travel arrangements and dealing with itineraries and accommodation

     

    We’re looking for an Executive Assistant with the following skills and experience:

    • Extensive experience as an EA or PA at Director / Executive level
    • Ideally degree-qualified (or equivalent)
    • Well-versed in complex diary and inbox management, as well as making travel arrangements
    • Previous work within a company based in the professional service / property sectors is preferred
    • IT proficient, with excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Able to effectively prepare, type and distribute professional correspondence including letters and reports
    • Understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion
