    Job description:

    This is a temporary assignment with an anticipated duration of 4 months. Due to urgent business requirements, applicants must be available to start immediately or within a week’s notice.

    On behalf of a leading educational organization in Kettering, we’re looking for an enterprising and diligent HR People Data Specialist with excellent analytical skills.

    Travelling between various local sites, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that essential HR data is collated, transferred and recorded accurately across the organisation.

     

    Hours of work:

    • Monday to Friday, either 8.00am – 4.00pm or 8.30am – 4.30pm each day
    • Hybrid working pattern available after initial onboarding period

    HR People Data Specialist, you’ll have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Obtaining and entering extensive data from paper records and the existing database into Excel files, to be loaded into HRIS
    • Consistently reviewing data to ensure accuracy of input
    • Ensuring confidentiality of information by keeping records secure
    • Travelling to multiple sites within Kettering, Corby and Wisbech to obtain data
    • Collating and reviewing standard letter templates, to create master templates in new HRIS
    • Tracking data extracted from existing HRIS
    • Producing results and reports to share with business stakeholders

     

    We’re looking for an HR People Data Specialist with the following skills and experience:

    • Extensive data administration experience, preferably involving the coordination, collation and analysis of HR data
    • Prior use of ICT systems within an educational setting would be beneficial
    • English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent)
    • A full driving licence is essential for the requirements of the role
    • High degree of IT literacy; confident in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel
    • Proven ability to maintain efficient record-keeping systems, with excellent organisational skills
    • Enjoys working in busy and demanding environment, whilst working efficiently at pace
    • Demonstrates a collaborative, problem solving approach as part of a team
    • Confident in the management, development and operation of admin systems and procedures
    • Communicates with colleagues in a helpful and approachable manner, both verbally and in writing
    • Sound understanding of GDPR and the important of confidentiality
