Financial Controller

This Group Financial Controller position is a hybrid role with a mix of working from home and from the Market Harborough based office a minimum 3 days per week (Tuesday – Thursday). This is a full time role working Monday – Friday, however, a 4 day week pro-rata will also be considered.

You will be joining the team of a leading global finance systems, analytics and transformation specialists.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, as a Group Financial Controller you will:

• Have line management responsibility for a finance team of 6 people
• Be hands on to deliver month end and perform periodic reviews of month end accounts for each entity across the group
• Approve new hires across the business in line with budgets
• Review and approve group payroll processing
• Prepare annual budgets and manage cashflow preparing actual vs budget analysis
• Manage relationships with external accountants & tax advisors
• Be responsible for US state filings including annual reports and sales / business tax, and oversight of all UK & European reporting requirements to ensure compliance

We are keen on speaking to people about this Group Financial Controller who have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA with experience in a similar role in industry
• Knowledge of accounting software such as NetSuite, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks
• Strong general IT skills with advanced Excel skills
• Line management experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in transacting business overseas and reporting in multiple currencies

This is a maternity cover contract role with an anticipated duration of between 12 – 15 months.

You will receive a salary of £70,000 – £75,000 pa plus 25 days holiday. The company offer 4.5% Pension contribution and Private healthcare after 3-month probation.
