    Our client, a leading media organisation, are looking for a HR Administrator to join their busy Shared Services team on a fixed-term basis through to March 2023.

    The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable, accomplished HR Administrator or HR Assistant who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a friendly human resources team. Together with your colleagues, you will provide an excellent HR service within a forward-looking organisation to the highest possible standard.

     

    As HR Administrator, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

    • Supporting the business with HR transactional work, making appropriate system changes in
      relation to, new starters, leavers, temporary workers, benefits, pension and payroll
    • Working on a rota to respond to ad hoc email enquiries and providing advice about pay and benefits
    • Creating and checking transactions and contracts to ensure high quality work
    • Advising line managers and staff regarding administrative procedures and system use
    • Ensuring the relevance and accuracy of all personnel records both hard copy and electronic.

     

    We’re looking for an HR Administrator with the following skills and experience:

    • You’ll have had experience in an HR administration or HR assistant role
    • A sound understanding of HR practices and procedures
    • IT proficient, with a good knowledge of MS Office
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly motivated, with a positive, proactive and problem-solving approach
    • Enjoys working in a busy environment, both alone and as part of a collaborative team
    • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage tasks accurately to meet demanding deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

     

    Working hours:

    • Monday to Friday, 9.00 – 5.30pm OR 8.30 – 5.00pm with a 1 hour lunch break – 37.5hrs per week
    • Based onsite

     

    Salary and benefits:

    • £25,000 per annum
    • 25 days holiday per annum
